..........From
the early age of five, I’ve enjoyed entertaining family and friends
by imitating my favorite singers and movie stars. While growing
up in the U.S. Virgin Islands I participated in talent shows
and oratorical contests. Later, while attending college in Honolulu,
HI, I joined drama teams and often performed on stage. I continued
my acting while living in Southern CA and Southern Spain as a
member of the U.S Navy. I never aggressively pursued acting as
a career since I was more focused on preparing myself for a “real”
job. Throughout the years, my “real” jobs have included, being
a: waitress, secretary, insurance claims adjuster, counselor,
college professor and a stay at home mom (the last job being
the most difficult, and the most rewarding).
.........While
working at these various jobs, the desire to act never
went away; it just lurked in the shadows, waiting for the
right time to make its debut. The right time came when
I got a phone call from a friend who wanted me to join
her as an audience member of a show that was being filmed
locally. I figured, “Why not?” When I got on the set, saw
the lights and the camera, and heard “action!” - That was
all she wrote. Since then, my acting career has taken off
rapidly and I have had the opportunity to work on many
jobs with many wonderful people. I feel blessed to be a
part of such an exciting industry.
..........When
I’m not pursuing my acting career, I’m out enjoying some
of my favorite pastimes with my wonderful and supportive
husband and my two sweet and adorable kids. We’re all looking
forward to seeing where this journey leads. Keep checking
back to see what’s new because I’ll keep you updated as I
continue to live and enjoy my dream.
